Miracles in John: Summary

This project was inspired by the miracles in John, and how they connected to the 7 days of the Feast of Tabernacles, leading up to the 8th day (Shemini Atzeret). The 8th day would be when the whole assembly gathered together and prayed for rain. This is when Jesus stood up in the temple and offered for anyone thirsty to drink from Him.

This connection to the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) inspired a project in which a poem on that particular feast served as the reference text for 7 poems related to the miracles in John. I conceptualized this to take the form of a book. The spine of the book is related to Tabernacles. The pages of the book are related to the miracles in John's Gospel.

The pages are in reverse order. I didn't realize when I started that Miracle 1 (water into wine) would end up at the back. Oops.
